"in middlesbrough, 2012, we formed in drink over unexplained mysteries, intrepid explorers and great distances. between writing and recording, we would drive to the sea every weekend, watch the stars, and dream of having enough money for a twin reverb. we laughed, cried and sank a thousand pints of tetleys imperial until we had 'the infinite sigh'. our influences included juliane koepcke, captain midnight and UVB-76. in 2016, we decided we'd had enough of it."
